A long weekend right at the peak of fall colours, grape harvest and farm crops: Thanksgiving (Saturday, October 10 to Monday, October 12, 2026) is the best time of year to hit the road in Quebec. This guide gathers the long weekend’s outings: vineyards mid-harvest, hikes with a view, cheesemakers, microbreweries, markets and spas, each with the venue’s listing, hours and prices.
Tips: vineyards in the Montérégie and Eastern Townships are in full harvest, and several offer tours or meals on Thanksgiving weekend, book ahead, tables fill up. In the national parks, Sépaq requires same-day reservations for the busiest sites on fall-colour weekends. And Nordic spas are packed on the Monday holiday: aim for Saturday morning.
