This guide brings together 144 museums and exhibition centres across the province, each with the venue’s listing, current exhibitions, opening hours and rates.
Tips: several museums are free on the first Sunday of the month or one evening a week, check the listing; major temporary exhibitions are booked online with a time slot; and économusées (cheese, glass, forge, chocolate) combine a visit and a shop, perfect for a stop on the road.

This patrimonial site includes a general store, a post office and an authentic period family home. It is an interpretation centre of Rouyn-Noranda’s history and one of its pioneer families, the Dumulon family. The site evokes the atmosphere of the 20’s.

Designated an historic monument, this school enrolled students from 1937 to 1958 and is a typical example of a period country schoolhouse.
