This 11 km linear trail runs along 70-metre-high cliffs formed by the accumulation of marine sediments from the Laurentians and Appalachians nearly 500 million years ago. River erosion has sculpted several canyons, including one with a singular shape visible only from the river: the Heart of Lotbinière. An immersion in the region’s geological history.
