Discover the Châteauguay River on this 6.4 km out-and-back route starting from Paul-Léveillé Park in Sainte-Martine. Allow approximately 2 hours to complete the trip. Ideal for beginner paddlers, this route offers a peaceful setting and beautiful agricultural landscapes along the river, providing a relaxing experience close to nature.This project was made possible through the Saint Lawrence Action Fund (Fonds d’action Saint-Laurent – FASL) and its Maritime Tributaries Program, coordinated by the Quebec Watershed Organizations Network (Regroupement des organismes de bassins versants du Québec – ROBVQ), with financial support from the Government of Quebec as part of Avantage Saint-Laurent, Quebec’s maritime vision.
