The Mon Beau Sapin event marks the start of the festivities on Mont-Royal Avenue! At the Place des Fleurs-de-Macadam, around a twelve-foot wooden Christmas tree, a choir, traditional music, dancers, and colorful characters recreate the magic of Christmas. Until December 24, Christmas in the Park takes place at the Compagnons-de-Saint-Laurent Park (Mont-Royal Ave. at Cartier). The program includes a visit and Santa’s mailbox, St. Nicholas House for photo opportunities, a wish tree, and a bonfire with marshmallows. Throughout December, the avenue sparkles with its urban lighting shaped like branches of light and the enchanting displays of shops participating in the Christmas window display contest.
