Art hits differently in person than on a screen. Galleries and art centres showcase local painters, sculptors and makers in spaces that are often free to visit and far less intimidating than you might think. Linger as long as you like, chat with the artists, maybe even bring a piece home. It is an easy way to add culture to any city wander.
