Following a successful launch in Montreal last year, the Vegan Christmas Market / Marché de Noël Végane is returning for its 2nd edition on December 7 and 8, 2019, at the Centre for Sustainable Development in downtown. The Holiday fair will gather under one roof a selection of vendors, mostly businesses from Quebec and a few from Ontario, to offer a variety of exclusively vegan products to the general public.

Attendees will find skincare care products, cosmetics, Christmas logs, pastries, baked goods, dairyfree fine cheeses, vegan wines, plant-based pâtés, chocolates, gourmet pizzas, pies, fashion items such as handbags, jewelry, wood sunglasses, winter coats, and more. All products are made without any animal-sourced material or exploitation, a defining characteristic of veganism and main concept behind this holiday market.

“We want to invite the public to do their shopping in a manner that underlines the true essence of the Holidays, which is a celebration of peace, love and compassion for all beings, both humans and animals,” said event creator and organizer An Pham.

This year the Vegan Christmas Market will also launch its first edition in New York City, NY, opening Nov. 30 & Dec. 1, and a first edition in Toronto, ON, on Dec. 14.

More than 30 vendors will participate in Montreal’s 2nd edition, which will take place at the Maison du développement durable, at 50 Sainte-Catherine street W. in Montreal.

General admission is free. The Market opens from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 7, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 8. VIP tickets are $9 plus taxes and include a 1-hour early shopping access on Dec. 7 starting at 10 a.m., exclusive promotions, plus a bonus vegan beanie by VEGAGOOZ.
