The vineyard is located on the slopes of the Appalachian foothills, where a terroir conducive to viticulture is hidden; dolomitic slates, glacial till, sandy-gravelly soils from the ancient Champlain Sea… a living subsoil that gives character to the wines.
The grape varieties include Chancellor, Seyval, as well as northern varieties like Marquette and Petite Pearl, and recently Chardonnay, Riesling, and Pinot Noir.
The wines are enjoyed in the summer, in a friendly atmosphere. Additionally, in collaboration with their neighbor Comptoir Moutarde, four 5 à 7 events are organized, sometimes ending late. These magical moments bring the community together to celebrate the beautiful season. Our wines can also be found on the menus of restaurateurs and in gourmet grocery stores… A favorite is Tørst, a light red, a blend of Chancellor and Frontenac Noir vinified like a rosé that reflects the Nordic essence of Quebec.
