This trail runs along the Ouiatchouan River for 30 km (18.6 mi.), between Val-Jalbert and Lac-Bouchette. There are several viewpoints on the Ouiatchouan and Maligne falls as well as many rapids. It crosses a mixed forest, some trees of which are more than 100 years old.
