Cyclists will find much to enjoy on La Route des Champs, a cycle path that winds its way through splendid countryside. The route crosses nurseries and orchards, and fields, offering a natural tableau that transforms with the passing months: apple trees in bloom in spring, multiple market garden crops in summer and the vibrant colors of the Rougemont and Yamaska mountains as a backdrop in autumn. What’s more, in 2024, a new eight-kilometre section was inaugurated between Marieville and Richelieu, featuring heritage panels recounting the region’s history.Ride the 40 km bike path between Richelieu and Saint-Paul-d’Abbotsford, and admire the magnificent landscapes of the region in the heart of Montérégie!
