This church has been part of the Route des clochers (steeples route) in the RCM of Bécancour. The parish was founded on October 17, 1867 and the stone church erected in 1870. A statue of the parish’s patron saint, Saint Angela Merici, can be found in the bell tower (1871), which houses three bells.
