Pointe-au-Père National Wildlife Area

National wildlife area encompassing 21.7 hectares (53.6 acres) of intertidal marsh in the St. Lawrence, 8 km (5 mi.) northeast of Rimouski. Established in 1986, it protects numerous habitats, including the Spartina marsh. It is one of Québec’s best shorebird-watching sites.
