Site historique maritime du Phare de Cap-des-Rosiers

This 37-metre lighthouse is the tallest in Canada. It was built on this site in 1858 because this section of the Gulf of St. Lawrence had seen numerous shipwrecks. Today designated an historic monument, it is considered the gateway to Forillon national park.
