This museum offers the only exhibition in Canada on the history of the Canadian textile industry, the struggles of the workers and the impact of these factories on the development of a region. In addition to presenting numerous temporary exhibitions on various subjects, it offers courses for the general public and numerous educational workshops for young and old alike. In summer, it offers a day camp service for young people and organizes guided tours with various themes such as the Tour of the cemetery, the Old city center, Pointe aux Anglais, the Quartier des Anglais and Parc Delpha-Sauvé .
