Built in 1931, the Delisle school ceased operations in 1965, when the Ministère de l’Éducation du Québec was created. Preserved in its entirety, complete with its original teaching materials, the school has been declared a historical monument. Today it serves as an interpretation centre devoted to the traditional rural schoolhouse.
