La Halte des Crinqués came to life from a friendship between David Gosselin and Karel Fréchette. And a dream: to own a business. The project began in 2019, and it was in April 2023 that these two warriors finally opened their doors in Sherbrooke. Since then, they’ve been brewing and selling their beers on site. Their passion for sport, in particular UFC fights, and their Viking decor worthy of the finest Norwegian taverns make La Halte a unique place to gather around a good beer. La Halte does not offer food on site except for the all-you-can-eat popcorn! However, it is possible to bring your own food, just like you would bring your own wine to the restaurant.
