The Montreal Firefighters Family Gathering aims to celebrate firefighters, their families, and the Montreal community in a festive, sporty, and inclusive atmosphere. With activities for all ages – games, extrication demonstrations, antique fire trucks, youth entertainment, and walks and runs of 1 km, 5 km, or 10 km on Sunday, as well as a national FireFit competition throughout the weekend – the Family Gathering attracts hundreds, even thousands, of visitors each year. A free BBQ is offered on-site from 11 AM to 2 PM, adding a friendly touch to this summer weekend.
