The Religious Heritage Days is an annual event coordinated by the Council of Religious Heritage of Quebec. It aims to showcase witnesses (buildings from different eras and construction techniques, organs, works of art, archives, monuments, cemeteries, etc.) that provide insight into the knowledge, actions, rituals, and ideas that have inspired our predecessors. These discoveries can be made through cultural mediation activities (tours, circuits, concerts, conferences, exhibitions, etc.), which may also be linked to initiatives directly addressing local and regional issues related to the stewardship of this heritage, or aimed at enhancing its promotion and accessibility. The programming is composed on a voluntary basis from proposals coming from various sectors across the Quebec territory. Each activity takes place in a physical location and is organized by a local or regional coordinator. Although the activities in the program are free, voluntary contributions may be suggested, and donations can be collected on-site.
