The Martinique Tourism Committee in Canada launched the Martinique Gourmande Festival in 2008. Since then, several restaurateurs gather each year to introduce the public to the culinary influences of Martinique. Chefs and cocktail creators offer drinks and dishes inspired by the gastronomy of the “island of flowers.” The festival is also enriched by a series of musical performances organized in certain restaurants and bars, enhancing the gastronomic experience available on the menu.
