Festival

Formerly known as Carifiesta or Carifete, the Montreal Carimas Festival celebrates the richness and diversity of Caribbean culture. The vibrant Carimas parade, which takes place on July 5 starting at noon, enlivens René-Lévesque Boulevard between Jeanne-Mance and Peel (South side) with floats and groups of musicians and dancers. The parade concludes at Place du Canada, where the Carimas Cultural Sizzle wraps up the festivities with live performances on stage.
