This distillery was named after the French Count Henry de Puyjalon, an adventurer, passionate naturalist, occasional writer’ a man who was solitary by choice. A sophisticated, urban man of his time, he opted for the solitude of a wild island lost in the Gulf of St. Lawrence to live out his passions.
