The Blue Hour – Les Grands Ballets Canadiens

The blue hour: that moment between day and night, when the sky veils itself in a diaphanous blue. A suspended in-between, where we vacillate between what was and what will be, between birth and mourning. It’s this feeling that this double program captures, through the pieces “Ma Saudade” by Anne Plamondon and “Du Soleil à la Lune” by Vanesa Garcia-Ribala Montoya, each of which, in its own way, explores the nuances of time, space and identity.
