Forget medieval Scotland, with its mists, castles, and warriors dressed in woolen tartans. Robert Lepage takes the Quebec translation by Michel Garneau and transposes the action into the ruthless world of bikers. Duncan, the old leader of a powerful organized crime group, faces the rebellion of one of his chapters while at the same time, a rival gang takes advantage of the support of a traitor to attack his organization. One of his lieutenants, Macbeth, known for his brutality, crushes both mutinies. However, three junkies predict to Macbeth that Duncan’s place will one day be his. Driven by his imagination and his appetite for power, he confides in his partner.
