Guest conductor of the Orchestre Métropolitain, Thomas Le Duc-Moreau presents “The Feather and the Turtle.” Long before Cinderella, before The Fox and the Crow, before the Chasse-Galerie, there was the Turtle. A cunning animal, she managed to seize a magical eagle feather, a feather that grants the power – and the duty! – to share stories. It is thanks to the courage of this turtle that humans began to create tales, myths, legends, and to pass them down to their children so that the traditions and knowledge of their ancestors would never be lost. In this musical tale inspired by three Indigenous legends, the Turtle takes us into the heart of her fantastic adventures and imparts the power of her magical feather.
