The Cinema Under the Stars is an outdoor film event aimed at promoting documentary cinema that addresses current social and political issues. Over 60 citizen-friendly and free screenings in about twenty parks and outdoor venues are followed by discussions with filmmakers or specialists on the themes presented in the films, facilitating an essential democratization of citizen expression. Since 2015, the short film competition has also encouraged emerging talent by providing a special platform for documentary filmmakers from here and abroad.
