The airport belongs to the ministère des Transports. Since September 1st, 1996, its operation is assumed by the Kativik Regional Government (KRG). Located in the Nord-du-Québec region, the airport ensures the safe and efficient transportation of passengers and freight. An air carrier provides regular scheduled service.
